Oliver Giles is a freelance journalist and editor who specialises in writing about visual art. Over the past ten years, he has interviewed some of the art world's leading figures, including gallerist David Zwirner, curator Hans Ulrich Obrist and artists such as Wolfgang Tillmans, Marilyn Minter and Cai Guo Qiang.
Most recently, he was the executive editor of Tatler Hong Kong, where he was responsible for all content related to the city and oversaw art features for the eight Tatler titles across Asia. He has also contributed to a variety of international publications, including The Guardian, CNN, Forbes, the South China Morning Post, Sotheby's magazine and Esquire UK. As a copywriter, he has worked for organisations such as Art Basel, the Victoria and Albert Museum and Pearl Lam Galleries.
